Sunflower and Grains Bread Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup regular rolled oats
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 2 cups bread flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons honey or molasses
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup shelled sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup dark raisins
Sunflower and Grains Bread Spread Instructions
1. Place oats in a shallow baking pan. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 15 minutes or until light brown. Cool. 2. Add all ingredients to a 1-1/2- or 2-pound bead machine according to manufacturer's directions. Select whole grain or basic white bread cycle and desired color setting. Makes one 1-1/2-pound loaf (24 slices).
