Whole Grain Bread Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tablespoon honey or molasses
- 1 tablespoon margarine butter, or shortening
- 2 cups bread flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup four-grain cereal flakes
- 1/3 cup shelled unsalted sunflower seeds or chopped pecans
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast or bread machine yeast
Whole Grain Bread Spread Instructions
Add the ingredients to a 1-1/2- or 2-pound bread machine according to the manufacturer's directions. If available, select the whole grain cycle, or select the basic white bread cycle, and desired color setting. Makes one 1-1/2-pound loaf (16 servings).
