Whole Grain Bread Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon honey or molasses
  • 1 tablespoon margarine butter, or shortening
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 cup four-grain cereal flakes
  • 1/3 cup shelled unsalted sunflower seeds or chopped pecans
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast or bread machine yeast
Whole Grain Bread Spread Instructions

Add the ingredients to a 1-1/2- or 2-pound bread machine according to the manufacturer's directions. If available, select the whole grain cycle, or select the basic white bread cycle, and desired color setting. Makes one 1-1/2-pound loaf (16 servings).
